The Man: Brandon Taylor
The Suit: Nordstrom
The Story: At age eighteen, Taylor made the move from Orlando to Pittsburg for college. During the move he realized he “didn't have anything nice to wear besides the tuxedo I had worn to prom”. His dad came to the rescue with this suit and since it didn't fit him anymore, he gave it to Taylor. “Somehow he has kept this around since he can remember,” Taylor reminisces, “I’ve seen photos from the eighties of him in it. It’s stayed in pretty great condition”. Brandon Taylor has kept the suit since his college days not only because he appreciates the look of vintage clothing, but also because in case of his father’s passing, it will be something he holds on to. He wishes to pass it onto his son, if he were to have one. However, “the waist is about a 32, so whomever gets it will have to be a certain height and weight” Taylor jokes.
