Ilaria Porcellini - ITALY
Ilaria exudes confidence while roaming around Union Square Park in her favorite outerwear.
Ilaria went through her closet, sifting through the layers of outerwear. She looked at me helplessly, and I returned her gaze with an unbiased face. “What do you feel comfortable in?” I inquired. Immediately, her hand brushed over an embroidered faux fur coat from Zara. To say that Ilaria is a fan of winter fashion is an understatement. “I’m obsessed with coats” she admits. This one in particular, paired with sunglasses from Oliver Peoples, is a source of contentment for her, as she adores the texture. Porcellini is also happy with the dark tones of the piece. She always says a black wardrobe represents her personality. “Why black though?” I asked, (ironically, since that was the only color I had on my body at the moment). “I think black is the most elegant color, and it makes you skinnier!”, she giggled, “It’s easy, it’s comfotable, it’s just my favorite.” Well, Ila, I think most of New York would stand by you on that statement too!
